What am I going to do with you?

Okay, so lately Cody is all about strippin' down to his nudey bum! He loves being a la natural! But this morning when we were getting ready to get in the tub, I told him to take his clothes off while I put Bo in the tub. I walked in and found him with his shirt on like this....

He got everything off, but he forgot to take his arms out before taking his shirt off, so he managed to get all tangle up in it! However, he thought it was really funny, and now he keeps doing it!! What am I going to do with this one?

Ummm, did I say Cody is ALL Boy?

Cody may be all boy, but over the weekend, he was showing some questionable behavior! Not really, he just really liked Sally's slippers, and he really thought they were an animal because he kept growling at them!

Here he is posing for the camera...

Here he is growling at his feet...

Laughing and showing off....

Walking away from Sally. "What are you gonna do about it?"

Bo was just a spectator in the Slipper Show, but I couldn't leave him out!

Happy Boys!

I don't know what makes my dad happier, being in Bear Lake, or his Grandson's!
I guess, being in Bear Lake WITH his grandson's!
We were working outside on a rock path for my mom and Grandpa had to take a rest. (He is still recovering from surgery) but the boys took his break as an opportunity...

Cody didn't last very long, but Bo is a Grandpa's boy! He's the only person Bo wants to be with ALL the time! I think it makes them both happy!

After we got the path dug and smoothed over and ready for the stones, Cody thought we had made him a playground! He sat in the dirt, rolled in the dirt, put the dirt on his head, you name it, he did it! He is ALL BOY!!!

Water Dog...

The other night I had to put Bo in the tub because he got so dirty eating a cookie. The fact that I had to put Bo in the tub is not out of the ordinary. What is out of the ordinary is that I pulled the plug on the tub, and went in to dress Bo for the night. Well, I hear all this splashing and laughing so I went back in the bathroom and there is Cody...

He managed to get his pants off, but he didn't bother with his shirt or diaper, he just wanted to get in the water before it was all gone! He was laying in the water like he was ready to swim!

When he saw me, he sat up and looked at me like "What? I'm not doing anything wrong!"

**Although it was pretty funny, and nothing happened, it still scared the crap out of me! It just reminded me of that freakin' commercial where the lady is talking on the phone waiting for the tub water to cool down, and you see her son run in there and it's implied that the poor kid drowned! This has totally made me more aware that Cody is getting big, and he's getting more independent, and I need to be a lot more careful about a lot of things!

Watch that Mouth!!

I have been wanting Cody to talk forever, but now the kid copies everything he hears! This is not a good thing for me! The other day I fixed myself a coke... unless you are a coke drinker, I don't think you can fully appreciate the finesse it takes to get it just right. The perfect amount of ice, a coke that is cold enough to be a little slushy without being frozen... you get the picture. My coke was perfect! And then my little brother took it when I wasn't looking and just pounded it! He didn't even enjoy it! He just drank it down! Well, I was mad, so I said... "Damn You!" (just kidding, but still...) and all the sudden I hear this "damn you!" in a cute little voice, but it was still a swear word! I was totally shocked, and I felt so guilty! I guess I'll be cleaning up the language now that I have a little parrot!

Four Wheelin'

Grandma Jill took the boys for a four wheeler ride the other day and they were loving it! If fact they were loving it so much that when I came out to take there picture, Jaxson told me to go back inside!! I had to re-assure him that I had no intentions of taking Cody, I just wanted to take their cute little picture!!

ABC's and 123's

Most people know that I have been so worried about my 2yr old and his speech. He doesn't talk! The older he gets the more concerned I become, well, I guess I can put my concerns to rest. Last night out of nowhere, Cody busts out the ABC's!! Yes, he sang the entire song! Including the last part about "next time won't you sing with me". Then he counts to 10! Like it was no big deal! I guess I am the dumb mom because I just assumed that since Cody didn't talk, he didn't know anything, well, I was put in my place! I still want him to talk more, but I guess things are sinking into his cute little brain, and he knows a lot more than I gave him credit for! I am impressed and humbled by my little man and I will try not to underestimate him ever again! You go little smarty pants!!! We love you!
